The CFSD (Center for Functional Skill Development) provides individualized services to people who have a wide range of abilities, interests, and needs. In addition to supporting people in developing and refining skills and competencies related to personal management/independence, health and safety, communication and socialization, activities are designed to promote the development of work-related skills for anyone interested in pursuing vocational interests. Special events, holiday celebrations and a variety of supervised community-based activities address each person’s current interests, provide exposure to new and different recreational and leisure activities and facilitate the development of interpersonal relationships. The CFSD operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM, 252 days a year.
